Contact & RFQ FAQ
Questions Before Requesting a Quote
Clear specifications help shorten technical review and reduce the risk of ordering the wrong gauge.
What information should I send for a thread gauge quote?
Please provide the complete thread callout, governing standard, internal or external workpiece thread, required gauge type, quantity, document requirements, shipping country and requested delivery date. A controlled drawing is recommended for special gauges.
Can I send a drawing or sample?
PDF, DXF, STEP, sketches, approved sample details, an existing gauge or a physical workpiece can be reviewed. A photo may help with initial identification but is normally insufficient for manufacturing a precision gauge.
Can GageTools manufacture custom or non-standard gauges?
Yes. Metric, Unified, BSP, NPT, ACME, trapezoidal, buttress and drawing-based thread forms can be reviewed. Feasibility is confirmed from the complete specification.
What is the MOQ for a custom gauge?
MOQ can start from one prototype for reviewed custom projects. Final feasibility, price and production time depend on the gauge type and specification.
Can calibration and inspection documents be supplied?
Calibration certificates, inspection reports, actual measured values and selected material records can be discussed. State the exact report, format and traceability requirements in the RFQ.
Can you sign an NDA before I send a proprietary drawing?
Yes. An NDA can be discussed before confidential drawings, samples or proprietary thread profiles are shared.
How quickly will I receive a reply?
Complete enquiries are usually reviewed within 24 working hours. Complex custom gauges may require additional technical review before a final quotation can be issued.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. GageTools supports international B2B enquiries. Include the destination country, postcode and delivery requirements so shipping details can be reviewed with the quotation.
